Windows
You need to install an FTP
program and use the login details at the bottom of the page,
or alternatively:
If you are using a browser that does not provide read-write access to FTP sites then you can use Windows Explorer instead.
An easy way to open your bulk upload directory in Windows Explorer is as follows:
Go
to the Windows "Start" menu.
Select "Run ..."
Copy the following, and paste into the "Open" field, changing
the username and password to the information you receive from the studio:
explorer ftp://USERNAME:PASSWORD@ftp.britishcouncil-ftp.co.uk
Click OK.
Note: by default Internet Explorer 7 gives you access
to an FTP site in read-only mode.

Users
You need to install an FTP
program (or use the command line if you know how) and connect
using the following details:
